The Objective
When most people think of a print shop, they think of a counter, a quote, and a pickup time.
We wanted to flip that idea completely. The goal of our grand opening was simple — show the community what we do in real time. No smoke and mirrors, no backroom printing. Just creativity, connection, and fast execution right in front of your eyes.
The Process
We set out to showcase our services in an unconventional way. Guests were invited to choose one of our Factory DMV blanks — the Off Day Tee (250 GSM Heavy Weight), Work Day Tee (220 GSM Mid Weight), Light Duty Tee (180 GSM Regular Weight), or the Active Duty Sleeveless.
Once they picked their blank, they could choose a design of their choice, and we printed it live on the spot.
The setup wasn’t just for show. It was proof of concept — demonstrating how quickly we can take a design, apply it to one of our premium blanks, and have it ready for pickup within minutes. While guests watched the process unfold, they also got a hands-on look at the quality of our blanks, the precision of our DTF transfers, and the overall speed of our operation.
The Experience
The energy in the building was different. People came expecting a traditional grand opening — but left inspired.
Music was bumping, food was flowing, and everywhere you looked, people were printing, creating, and connecting. The Factory DMV became a live example of what concept to market really looks like.
It wasn’t just a launch; it was an experience. Guests walked away not only with a custom shirt but with a real understanding of what makes The Factory different — a space built for creators, not just customers.
